Moravian Eagle
Moravian Eagle
We produce Moravian eagle in several variants. The smaller version can be easily glued to a door or wall, while the large version can be both hung and glued. The Morava sign is made of a very light but strong material - PLA bioplastic. This Moravia sign is designed for indoor use. The small size is printed in one piece, the larger size is assembled from parts and glued, choosing a higher quality printing method for a perfect surface.
Colour
We follow the rules of heraldry - you can choose whether the Moravian eagle is printed in the traditional red and silver chequered version with gold armour or in an alternative red and white combination with rye armour. For the metallic colours we use the brightest glossy filament to imitate the metallic effect.
Installation
The small size can be safely glued on with a common universal adhesive. The larger size has a ready to hang handle on the back.
Symbolism of the Moravian Eagle
The Moravian eagle is one of the historical landmarks of the Czech Republic and symbolizes Moravia. It is traditionally depicted as a silver and red chequered eagle with a golden crown and armour on a blue shield. The chequering symbolises the connection of the various provincial parts of Moravia, while the golden crown represents its historical dignity and statehood. As such, the eagle is a badge of sovereignty and protection.
